Experience
2018 / AUGUST TO PRESENT
University of North Georgia Newspaper
In August of 2018, I joined the Vanguard as a staff writer, focusing on writing features and news stories. I covered stories such as the university's first-ever sorority and the College Assistance Migrant Program. I surveyed 228 UNG students to predict the young voter turnout in 2018's midterm election and wrote about the surprising results. I also wrote about special events, new clubs and speakers on campus such as Alba Castillo, the VP of Coca-Cola’s North American customer marketing.
